Playtime is a exhibition about the world of employment and its evolution. It doesn‘t only deal with work itself but also thematises the norms and requirements of the labour society and everyday life. My interpretation and design is based on the idea of having a sort of wiggle room in between strict norms and a stressful working days, time to relax, time to pause, time to play.
The visual identity of the exhibition was created with having these thoughts in mind, which resulted in the play between letters and circles loosening up strict and static structures into playful, but not childish, visual playgrounds. The circles are therefore resembling childhood memories of playing with balls, bringing some fun into the often boring work day.
